Chris is a partner at Nixon Wenger LLP. He represents a wide variety of corporate and individual clients with respect to all matters of business transactions, lending and borrowing, subdivisions and land development, estate planning, residential real estate and probate matters. Chris is particularly recognized for his knowledge in land development and complex estate planning.

Wills & Estates
Chris has implemented both simple and complex estate planning, as the situation may require, including assisting families with estate planning involving disabled individuals. Chris has particular knowledge of trusts of all kinds, including testamentary, inter vivos, alter ego and discretionary trusts as well as Wills, Powers of Attorney and Health Care Representation Agreements. Chris regularly assists clients with obtaining grants of probate and letters of administration.
Residential Real Estate
Chris has acted for individuals, families and investors in their purchase, sale and refinancing of residential real estate. In addition, Chris regularly advises clients on issues regarding their property, including easements, statutory rights of way and restrictive covenants.
Incorporations, Partnerships and Joint Ventures
Chris has advised clients with both simple and complex share structures and share rights and restrictions. Additionally, Chris has advised on the creation of partnerships, limited partnerships and joint ventures.
Business Transactions
Chris has advised clients on all matters of business transactions including asset and share purchases and sales, amalgamations, multi-step re-organizations and share issuances. Chris has also assisted clients with many other forms of agreements, including distribution agreements, sales agreements, franchise agreements, consulting agreements, commercial leases, and licensing agreements.
Land Development
Chris has acted for a number of large and small land developers. Projects that he has worked on have included multi-phased developments, fractional interest ownership units, master-planned communities, strata developments as well as small subdivisions.
Lending & Financing
Chris has acted for many lenders and borrowers in both commercial and personal matters. His clients include banks, credit unions, private lenders, individuals and businesses of all sizes.
