Significant wrist injury resolves for over $260,000.00 plus costs

A woman in her early 30’s suffered a significant injury to her wrist when she fell down the stairs of her rental unit in a poorly designed and poorly lit foyer.  She had rented a room in a duplex set up for multiple suites, but after investigation it became apparent that it did not meet building code requirements for steps, spacing and lighting.
